How we deployed a wireless bridge solution in days, not the 8 weeks their provider projected.
A medical patient care facility operates out of two buildings separated by a busy road: a school building on one side and the clinical offices on the other. After a major storm caused severe flooding, the facility’s internet service to the offices was knocked out. Their existing provider estimated it would take 8 weeks to restore service, putting patient care operations at risk.
We designed and deployed a wireless extender/point-to-point bridge between the two buildings (with permission from both property owners) to bring the offices back online and keep operations running while the provider worked on the long-term restoration.

Flooding created an immediate operational crisis.
The provider’s projected 8-week timeline meant prolonged disruption to office workflows.
The facility’s layout, school in one building and offices across a busy road, made traditional quick fixes (like trenching cable) impractical at the moment.
Without reliable office internet, key daily tasks (scheduling, communications, and digital workflows) were at risk.
To restore service quickly, we implemented a wireless extender solution to share connectivity from the school-side building to the office-side building.
We evaluated viable mounting locations on both buildings to ensure a stable wireless link across the road.
We obtained approval from both building owners to install the equipment.
We installed and configured the wireless extender system to establish a reliable connection between the buildings and deliver internet access back to the offices.
We tested performance and ensured the office-side network was usable for day-to-day operations.
The facility regained operational connectivity without having to wait for the provider’s 8 week timeline.
Rapid restoration of office internet access using a non-invasive, cross-road wireless link.
Continuity protected during a highly disruptive weather event.
A scalable contingency approach the organization can reuse for future incidents affecting one side of their campus.
